Published bi-monthly by Ulster Journals, Perspective is the official publication for the Royal Society of Ulster Architects (RSUA).  The aim of the magazine is to promote and provide a platform for quality architecture and design in Northern Ireland.

Each issue features approximately five case study buildings in Northern Ireland and occasionally features buildings from outside Northern Ireland that have been designed by Northern Ireland based architects.

The magazine prides itself on its editorial independence and does not shy aware from architectural criticism. Each issue of Perspective includes work in progress articles, landscape architecture article, relevant book reviews, product section, Arts Overview, News from Queen's University Belfast and University of Ulster, Schools of Architecture and Design as well as Travelogue articles from around the world.

In December 2007 Perspective was runner-up in the category Business to Business Magazine of the Year 2007 at the Periodical Publishers Association Ireland Magazine of the Year Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin.

Perspective is posted free of charge to all RSUA and registered architectural practices in Northern Ireland and avidly read by the entire architectural and design profession in the province.
